ABOUT
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3), trust created to award supplemental scholarships to disadvantaged US citizens to attend college, junior college, trade schools, vocational training, or other job-training programs. Our primary mission is to help deserving persons who have some of the resources needed for their educational goals but require supplemental financial assistance. We seek to assist students who are pursuing marketable skills which lead directly to jobs or career opportunities.

Our Award Philosophy

Our focus is on students who :

Can provide most of the resources needed, but require supplemental financial assistance

Demonstrate positive character traits such as perseverance and determination

Are nearing completion of educational or vocational training goals that are likely to directly result in near-term job or career opportunities using acquired marketable skills.
GPAs and standardized test scores, while considered, are not necessarily key selection factors. We also give considerable weight to demonstrated positive character traits such as perseverance, focus, and determination.
Scholarships awards are typically not to exceed $1,000 per student per year and may be for any lesser amount.
Scholarships are needs-based, with selection preferences given to applicants who work part-time or full-time while attending school. Selection preferences are also given to applicants with honorable military service or other public services.
Applications are accepted year-round for both full- and part-time students.
